Using Fertilizer

When you are using fertilizer to assist the growing of your marijuana plants you have to make sure that you do it properly. Usually the soil you purchase to grow your marijuana plants in will already have ingredients for the weed plants to feed off of for about 2-3 weeks. After the third week you can start adding fertilizer. You will want to slowly add it in though and start to gradually increase the amount of fertilizer the plants get.

Acidic Soil

The soil will become acidic after time because the fertilizer will start to break down and the amount of salt will increase. At some point it can lead to the concentration of salt in the soil to causing the marijuana plants to stop growing and also lead to the marijuana leaves browning. The marijuana plant will not be as efficient at sending the food to the marijuana leaves once it gets older. For you to help prevent the soil getting full of salt you have to make sure that the weed plants are getting all the food they need. After a month and a half you can safely start feeding the marijuana leaves.

Feeding the Leaves

To do this you will have to dissolve the fertilizer in worm water and put it in a spray bottle then spray the leaves with it. The leaves will eat the fertilizer solution and it will go into the veins of the leaves. You can feed the soil and the leaves at the same time but you have to make sure that you are not giving the marijuana plants too much food.
