Transplanting Marijuana Plants
Marijuana plants are very sensitive and especially the stems can be damaged from the slightest touch. When weed plants are at a young age you have to be very careful when you are handling them. Whenever it comes time to transplant the marijuana plant into a new container you have to be even more cautious so you don’t end up injuring or killing the plant.
Transplanting the Plant
You must be careful when you do this. Once the roots are getting too big for the container it will definitely be time to move to a bigger container. What you have to do is get the bigger container ready with soil then dig a hole just a bit bigger than the current container. The best way to get the weed plant out of the container is to flip it upside down and bang on the rim of the bottom of the pot so it loosens the ganja plant. When you remove the marijuana plant the root ball and the soil should remove from the container without much mess and keep the shape of the container. Just set the plant into the new container and make sure it is filled with soil.
The marijuana plant will take a few days to recover from the transplant in most cases and can temporarily stunt the growth of the plant but it may be necessary if your current plant container is not big enough. Sometimes plants will grow bigger than expected so even if you have a decent size container for your marijuana plant you may still need to get a bigger one to grow it in.
