Too Much Light in Grow Room
If your marijuana plants are given too much light it can cause some health issues. During the vegetative phase of growth your marijuana plants can withstand having light pretty much 24/7 but once they reach flowering things will change. The intensity of the light can also be an issue.
Lights
The light given to your dope plants outside isn’t always at full force. The sun will both rise and set so the intensity of the light on the weed plants isn’t always really strong on the plants. A lot of the time plants outside will be in the shade, the sun gets covered with clouds, and rain or bad weather could occur. The idea with indoor gardens is to imitate the setup outside. Your cannabis plants can’t hold high intensity on them all the time.
The main thing that can happen from the dope plants getting too much light would be the chlorophyll contents getting killed. There will likely be no harm to the leaves unless the leaves near the light get burnt. Usually a lot of light can end up causing high heat in the grow room so the leaves will likely be facing some issues as well. Once the flowering phase reaches the marijuana plants will need less light to effectively flower.
