Static Solution Culture
One of the simplest ways to grow marijuana plants with a hydroponic system is through static solution culture. This method works for even those who have never grown before and is very basic. The reason for the name is a result of the nutrient mixture being static. The water in the system is still and will soak the roots of the dope plants.
How it Works
You will want to use a darker container or possibly a mason jar and will need a lid. If you don’t use something that is dark in color you will want to wrap it with foil to make sure algae growth does not occur. Cut some holes in the lid of the jar so you can put your marijuana plants in the middle of the lid. Mix in your nutrient solution and some water.
You will have to watch the pH level and make sure the dope plants remain in a healthy pH level that will assist the growth. Also be sure that your marijuana plants get the right amount of water and nutrients.
If the solution is not aerated then the level of the solution will be able to keep the weed plants roots just above the solution and able to get enough oxygen. You can have more than one marijuana plant in each reservoir but it depends on how big it is. Usually people will make the reservoirs themselves at home because they are basic. This setup is easy to use to grow your marijuana plants with and is recommended for those who are new to growing dope plants. You should look for a full guide of how to set it up and read about feeding your weed plants before you make the step to start creating your reservoirs.
