Lighting Setup
If the marijuana plants don’t have light then they can’t grow at all. If you are growing the marijuana plants outside or where there is close access to the sun from inside then the sun is your main resource for lighting but if you are growing the marijuana plants inside then you will need to get a lighting setup for them.
Light
In various countries across the world the sun is strong enough to grow marijuana plants to the size of trees but that is not the case in all parts of the world. In North America you do not have that much sun power to rely on in order to fully grow marijuana plants to a decent size so setting up a lighting system can be very beneficial. North America has to face cold and snowy winters so the growing time is limited. If you are going to grow indoors then you can grow marijuana all year long. Basically the more light you give your plants the better the end result will be. You can buy various types of lights and each type will show different results for your weed plants. Basic incandescent lights can give the weed plants certain lighting characteristics that they need but this type of light can also deliver red and infra red light as well and this can cause the ganja plant to focus on growing the stem more. This will cause the dope plants to just grow tall and collapse from the height. You can get various types of lights like incandescent spot lights, Gro-Lux lights, halogen, metal halide, high intensity discharge lamps, high pressure sodium lamps, and fluorescent lights.
The yield of your marijuana plants and the quality of the dope will depend on the lights that are used. Depending on what type of light you use the results will be different. It is best if you invest in the highest quality lights but the cost may be a bit too much to be worth the expense.
