Getting Supplies – Scissors

Scissors may not sound like something that has any relevance to growing marijuana plants but they are. By the time you get to harvest your weed plants you will need to have a pair of scissors around. Just a little pair of scissors that are very sharp would be sufficient. The reason you need scissors first off would be to cut dried marijuana leaves off of the dope plants. When you want to clone your female plant you will also need scissors. There are a lot of small things needed done around your cannabis plants that are easier with scissors.

Scissors

Some type of tool will need to be used when your marijuana plants need to get chopped down. Usually the stems of the ganja plants are at least three quarters of an inch thick but it can be even thicker in some cases once they are ready to be harvested. Make sure that the pair of scissors you use are specifically for your marijuana plants and you always have them clean. You can easily purchase scissors almost anywhere. You can also pick up a pair of garden prunes at various gardening stores as well.

If you don’t know how thick the stems of your marijuana plants will get then you should buy the scissors the day before you harvest them so you know you get a pair that can do the job easily. It may also be helpful if the scissor set you purchase contains shears as well.
