Indica and Sativa Seeds

Before growing marijuana plants you need to either get your hands on some marijuana seeds or clones. There are two different species of cannabis which can be grown to create weed plants and they consist of Cannabis indica and Cannabis sativa. There are probably hundreds of different types of marijuana strains and cross strains but a large percentage of strains that are available are either indica or sativa or a mixture of the two.

Seeds

In general indica seeds will produce the best dope plants for those that are new to hydroponic growing and are growing the marijuana plants inside. Indica seeds are very easy to grow and the plants won’t be as vertical as sativa seeds will be. Indica seeds also give a bigger yield than sativa seeds will. The main problem with indica seeds is that the THC amounts that you get from the indica plants when fully grown is less than you would get from sativa plants so they are not as potent. A cross mix of the two can help you get a bit of both so you get a decent amount of THC but still can benefit from some of the advantages that indica seeds have.

Once you become more experienced at growing ganja plants then you can move on to trying to grow mixtures of the two seeds. After you are very skilled at growing marijuana plants you can then move on to attempt to use the sativa strains only to grow dope plants through a hydroponic setup. When you are new to the game you are best to just use indica seeds or a mixture of the two.
