Growing Room Reflectors

You can get reflectors for your lights but you also have to look at your growing room as well. If you want to make sure that the marijuana plants get all of the light you should go out of your way to set up the growing room to reflect all of the light so the weed plants do get all of it.

Walls and Ceiling

You can paint both the walls and the ceiling white in order to allow the glow lamps to reflect the light onto the marijuana plants. You could also use black and white visqueen plastic to reflect the light by setting the white half pointing to the ganja plants so it reflects the light. You can also use commercial reflectors as they are a lot more efficient – one example that would work is Mylar. Make sure that you don’t use mirrors though because mirrors absorb a lot of the light instead of reflecting it.

The reflection that you get from everything depends on what it is. Below gives you a rough idea on how well some popular things work to reflect the light to the marijuana plants.

If you use gloss then you only get up to 70% reflection for the light.

If you use basic white paint then you could get up to 80% reflection for the light.

If you use visqueen plastic then you could get up to 80% reflection for the light.

If you use Mylar then you could get up to 95% reflection for the light.
