Protecting the Crop from Law Enforcement

Sometimes the cops just seem to want to ruin all your fun and bust you even if you only have a medium sized crop. There are a lot of techniques that police officers will use to discover if you are really growing marijuana plants inside your house or not. One thing that cops will do is view your house with infrared cameras which have IR detection and this is a major issue. This will allow them to see any possible heat on your walls and windows and if you are letting hot air out of your house anywhere at all it’s almost impossible to hide it from the infrared cameras.

Electricity Bill

This is probably the main thing that many people worry about. However you need to remember that it is very unlikely that a police officer can receive a search warrant for your home just because your electricity bill is higher than it should be. It’s definitely a big sign and in their hearts they probably know you are growing marijuana plants in your house but it’s not sufficient evidence to grant a search warrant. You should also understand your rights. If a cop comes to your door without a warrant you can reject him on the spot. You may want to find a way to get your crop out of your house without notice though in case he does get a warrant later on.

Police will monitor your house regularly. There are many cops which patrol the streets and actively drive by suspicious places. Most of the time it will be well known drug dealing houses but there is a chance you will find a way onto their shift. They will watch for anything suspicious that can grant them a warrant or the ability to search without one. Don’t open your front door for police officers either because the entire officer has to do is he can smell marijuana and you’re busted. Read up more on the various techniques that officers take to find out if you are growing dope plants or not if you have a large crop because you don’t want to lose it.
