How to Clone (Preparing the Clones)
Cloning your marijuana plants is not a difficult process if you know what you have to do. This article will give you step by step instructions which will guide you to prepare the clones of your dope plants
Step 1
Find a baby food jar or a similar sized container and fill it up with cool water – either from your tap or distilled water from a bottle. If you use tap water wait about 12-18 hours before using it so the chlorine can evaporate.
Step 2
To begin your first clone you will cut from the bottom branch on your weed plant. The length of the cut should be around two to five inches roughly. Make sure you leave at least one or two big leaves, a smaller leaf, and the growing tip on the branch. Underneath the final leaf you will have to chop other leaves off which are about an eighth of an inch from the primary stem of your cannabis plant.
Step 3
As soon as you make the cut you will have to place the removed part of your weed plant into the container you filled with water. The reason for getting the cutting directly into the water is to make sure there is no air bubble. If an air bubble shows up it could cause the transpiration stream to get blocked. Once you finish taking the clones you should put them in a cloning area where it’s rather dark. You should mist the clones at least one or two times while they are in the cloning area.
Once everything has been completed you will have to move on to planting your clones. It is important you don’t make any mistakes when doing so and it would be beneficial if you read up on how to properly do so to prevent the chance of your marijuana plants dying.
