Predetermined Harvest Times

Once you have grown a crop of marijuana plants before you will have a rough idea on how long it takes for you to reach the harvesting stage. If you are going to grow the same type of marijuana strain again then you can make a rough estimate on when you will reach the harvesting process. With this knowledge you can be prepared for the harvest and it can be very beneficial. If you know roughly when the harvest will begin you can wait right up until just prior to the harvest and feed them water without any food. This will allow your dope plants to grow to the maximum time length possible before the flush occurs and makes your yield as big as possible.

Fertilizer

You are not going to give the marijuana plants any fertilizer while they are about to reach the harvest time. The dope plants will use the nutrients which are already stored in the growing soil before the harvest occurs. If you don’t go about flushing your dope plants then it could cause your marijuana to have a bad taste and be hard to light up.

With a hydroponic garden you will want to begin the flush around a week before you start to harvest your marijuana plants. You can do this by simply switching what you feed your marijuana plants to just water with reverse osmosis treatment or distilled water. Certain marijuana plant growers will swap the water multiple times before the harvest period begins in case there are still some nutrients left in the growing soil after you go about the initial flush.
