pH Test Kits

People with little experience growing marijuana plants will still have to monitor the pH levels by using pH test kits. These kits are not too expensive and you can use them more than once. The main issue with pH test kits would be that the testing fluids in it will ruin out at some point and you will have to purchase another pH test kit.

Testing the pH Levels

To test the level of pH in your nutrient solution you will have to drop in a bit of the testing fluid with the a little bit of your nutrient solution in a container. After you mix the test liquid and nutrient solution together the color will change. You then look at the pH chart and determine the color it matches to figure out what the pH level is.

If the pH level is out of a safe range then you will have to either increase it or decrease it by adding stuff in to your nutrient solution. There are other ways to test pH levels for more experienced growers who are dealing with a lot of weed plants but if you are just growing a few dope plants then a pH test kit will work just fine.
