Overfeeding your marijuana Plants

While everyone has their best interest at heart when growing marijuana plants some people will make minor mistakes that could end up killing their dope plants. Some people think that the more food you give your weed plants the faster it will grow but that’s not true. If you give your marijuana plants too much food it can kill them. If you don’t give your marijuana plants enough food then they will be very slow growing but won’t actually die just from the lack of nutrients.

You should also follow along with the directions you are given on the plant food package for hydroponic use. If you don’t know how much exactly to use you should use less instead of more because you will do less damage if you make a mistake.

Water Reservoir

When water evaporates it will get absorbed into your marijuana plants. This causes the water reservoir level to decrease substantially. You should give your water reservoir more water. The water you give the reservoir should be at least three days old and from your tap. If you got access to a reverse osmosis filter or can use distilled water instead then you don’t have to wait any time before putting the water in the reservoir. Some people will also put nutrient solution into the reservoir when they are pouring water in but you don’t have to.

You should be changing your plant food once every 14 days. To do this you will throw out the previous solution and rinse out your water reservoir, pumps, and anything else you are using with boiling hot water. Once you clean everything you can then pour in aged tap water, distilled water, or water that went through a reverse osmosis filter.

Before you go on to your next marijuana crop you just have to make sure you clean the tubing that your marijuana plants are in and the cups. Your old solution doesn’t have to be thrown out. You can still use it for watering other plants if you have any outside or around the house. By doing this the speed that the other plants grow at will be around double.
