Manicuring Marijuana Plants

After your marijuana plants are fully grown and get harvested you will have to manicure the plants before drying them. All this means is you have to cut the leaves off which were growing off of the buds. You want to remove everything but the bud itself. Ideally while you are manicuring your weed plants you will do it over something with a flat surface so the materials can be scooped up easily when complete.

The contents being cut off of the buds have less THC than the buds will when they are dried completely. You don’t want to throw away the leaves and trim you have though because it still has multiple uses. You can make decent hash oil with it or use it towards normal hash as well instead of throwing it out.

Use scissors with short blades to perform the manicure on your cannabis plants. If you don’t have many ganja plants to manicure then you can do it bare handed but if you have a lot of ganja plants to manicure you will want to wear latex gloves.

There are benefits to wearing gloves too. The gloves can absorb the trichome resin and this can be used to produce hashish later on. Make sure the latex gloves you purchase contain no powder because it could mix in with the resin. Make sure you only touch the marijuana plants with the gloves and regularly switch to a new pair so you get all of the resin. Bag the gloves up as you continue to take them off. The bag will eventually be put in the freezer so the resin can get scraped off and turned into hashish at a later time.
