High Intensity Discharge Lamps

There are a lot of different types of lights that you can use when growing marijuana plants. The type of light that you use will also depend on the period of growing that the plants are in. if they are in the beginning stages where they are just starting to grow then you may need a different light then you would when they are in the vegetative state and are beginning to flower. High intensity discharge lamps are decent for weed plants but they still have disadvantages.

Quality

These lamps are very easy for you to use and are very efficient. The low wattage version of these lamps are sold for outside use sometimes and the high wattage ones are sometimes used for lights on the side of the street, in parking lots, in baseball fields, and various other big places. The main problem with this type of light is probably that it can spike your meter readings a lot and it could cause suspicion once your electricity bill starts to go up really quickly and by a lot but that is usually an issue for most lights if you use enough wattage.

You can get both metal halide and high pressure sodium lights. These are both types of high intensity discharge lamps which can be used for assisting your marijuana plants in growing efficiently. You should read up on each so you know what you should be buying.
