Hydroponic Marijuana Plant Growing – Height of Plants

The height of your marijuana plants when grown in a hydroponic garden will keep rising during the flowering stage. Up to four weeks into the flowering stage your marijuana plants will still likely be getting taller. After four weeks have passed you probably won’t see any noticeable increase in height for your dope plants. The majority of the energy at this point will be directed towards the female plant producing flowers. If there has been pollination of the marijuana plant then a portion of the energy could be directed towards producing more marijuana seeds.

Complete Darkness

While your marijuana plants are in the flowering stage it is important that when it is in the dark parts that it is complete darkness. No light should be getting into the room from outside whether it is from another room or outside. This is one of the most important things to remember when you are in the flowering stage. Your marijuana plants growth could be harmed if even just a little bit of light gets on them when it shouldn’t be.

When the marijuana plants are fully grown the height could be pretty tall. Depending on the marijuana strain you use the height could vary vastly. If you have a low ceiling then they may get too tall if you don’t train them to grow primarily horizontally and that’s a difficult thing to do. If you’re an experienced grower then even having a lower ceiling will not stop you from growing large marijuana plants.
