When to Harvest

If you have experience with growing a certain type of marijuana strain in the past then you will already have a general idea of when the plant will be prepared to be harvested. If it happens to be your first time growing marijuana plants in general or you have never grown the particular strain before then you won’t really know when the harvest time should be expected. If you are buying the seeds online then you can look for reports from people who have extensive experience with them and figure out a rough idea on what the expected harvest time would be for that particular strain.

Harvest Time

It is a lot more important for you to harvest your marijuana plants at the right time then you may think. Before you harvest your marijuana plants you will have to get the fertilizer taken out of your weed plants. As you feed the marijuana plants with nutrients the plants will still absorb some of it and save a little bit up. Once the harvest time comes the fertilizer will have to be gone and you will need a few days warning beforehand to have everything timed perfectly.

Your marijuana plants will need fertilizer for them to grow bigger, become mature, and start producing THC contents to make them potent. For you to take the fertilizer out of your plants you will have to feed the weed plants plain water but not any nutrients for at least one or two feeding times before you harvest them. You should use water that has received reverse osmosis treatment or distilled water to do this because tap water will have some chemicals in it. When you are normally watering your dope plants you may not want to use distilled water though.
