Growing Room – Mistakes that are Deadly

Various things can be accidentally done which can cause your marijuana plants to be harmed and even die. You should become aware of all the things that can happen so you can prevent anything happening to your dope plants.

Lights

Be sure not to touch the MH or HPS bulbs with your fingers. Your body oils can cause the bulbs to die a lot faster than they should. If you happen to touch the bulb by accident then you should use a clean cloth which is damp to wash the bulb. After the bulb dries you can use it again in the grow room. If the bulb is still wet it could make the bulb crack or explode if you use it while damp.

Ballast

If you have a 400w ballast for metal halide bulbs then make sure you only use 400w metal halide bulbs. Whatever your ballast is designed for it has to be used for. You can’t mix wattage or bulbs.

Growing Room

Be sure that whenever you enter the grow room that you are very clean. Even though it could be a pain it is suggested that you take a shower and put on clean clothes before you go into the grow room. Be sure to wash your hands and face and wear clean clothes if you can’t take a shower when you go into the grow room. You don’t want the weed plants to get contaminated.
