Germinate the Marijuana Seeds

One of the first things you will have to do when you get the marijuana seeds is germinate them. You need to do this in order to start growing the marijuana plants. This is a relatively easy task but if you mess it up you could end up wasting your marijuana seeds and you don’t want to do that. If you don’t germinate the marijuana seeds before you put them into the soil you will be putting the seeds at risk of not growing the plant. You have a far greater chance of successfully growing a weed plant if the seeds were germinated.

Germination Process

All you have to do is take a couple of seeds and place them in between around 6 damp sheets of paper towel. You don’t want the paper towel sheets to be soaked but rather just damp enough for the seeds to absorb some of the water. You will then have to place them somewhere out of the way and wait a little while. Generally you should see the seeds ready in 24 hours but it could take a few days and up to a week in some cases.

You can also use a sponge if you don’t want to use paper towel. All you have to do is put the marijuana seeds in the spores of the sponge while it is moist and leave it to sit. Make sure that you do this so you have a greater chance of the marijuana plants growing successfully. Every little step is important and will ultimately lead to your success if you do everything right and put some effort into growing your ganja. You will know that the marijuana seeds are ready to be planted once they start to crack open.
