Fusarium

This is a type of disease which is similar to a certain type of fungus. This mostly strikes with marijuana plants when the roots of seedlings are growing close to chlamydospores. While the seedlings are growing near the chlamydospores it will germinate and the disease will get into the roots. The disease won’t further advance right away. Once the seedlings get bigger and are crowded in the area they will become stressed out as they need moisturized and need nutrients.

Fungus

The fungus will begin to grow really quickly in the roots and can destroy the roots. This could definitely harm (and possibly kill) your cannabis. Fusarium can also be a genetic disease and is attached to certain strains. Removing the fungus can be very difficult so the best thing to do is try to prevent it beforehand.

To minimize the chance of Fusarium affecting your weed plants you should plant the seedlings in a bare root nursery which has light soil instead. The losses you face from Fusarium attacking your marijuana plants can be minimized if your container nursery is working with a good drain system and proper air circulation in the growing media.

If the garden is operating an irrigation system it can help keep your dope plants from stressing out. Also make sure you clean any containers for your container nursery if they have been used before.
