Nutrients – Plant Food

While your marijuana plants are growing they can rely on all purpose nutrient products to be fed with. All purpose nutrients deliver the primary nutrients, secondary nutrients, and trace elements that the marijuana plants need to get. However this is not a long term solution because it’s not the best way to feed your weed plants. You should be slightly adjusting the level of nutrients in your marijuana plants when it is needed to make sure that your plants are growing as good as they possibly can.

Dosage

The first 2 weeks that your marijuana plants are in the hydroponic garden you can’t feed them too much. You should give them no more than half the recommended amount of plant food that an adult plant would get. Once the marijuana plants reach the first 2 weeks of flowering you will want to make sure that they are getting the same amount as they would for the very first 2 weeks of growth – half of the recommended amount for adult plants.

Therefore for these two periods of time if the instructions say to mix one tablespoon of plant food for a gallon of water you will change it to half a tablespoon mixed with a gallon of water. You can feed the weed plants a little under half but make sure you don’t starve them. However there are also still some people that grow marijuana plants and start by not giving the plants any food for two weeks and then introducing half the recommended amount of food for two weeks before jumping to the recommended serving of plant food. Keep in mind that your marijuana plants will also need more of a certain nutrient when they are in certain stages. The plant food is one of the most important things that can affect growth progress.
