Grow Room – Floors

The floors in your hydroponic growing room are very important. You should have something covering your floors in the room you are growing your marijuana plants in. You want to make sure that you prevent any water or nutrient spills from damaging your actual floor. If you are going to have a hydroponic setup for your dope plants you will need to cover your floors because at some point there will be some sort of spillage.

Floor Cover

Find something which you can use which is bigger than the hydroponic setup will be. Assuming your hydroponic garden is 4x4 in size then you would want to get a floor cover which his at least 8x8. If the floor cover turns out to be too large for the area then you can still cut it smaller. It’s better to choose something too big because you can’t make something too small any bigger then it is. Something like a plastic cloth could be efficient if it’s at least 4 mills thick however the company may not put that on the box. Just make sure that the room your weed plants are in has some sort of cover on the floor to prevent water damage on your actual floors.

If you take a look in the painting isle of a hardware store in your city you can probably find a plastic drop cloth. Make sure that the floor cover you choose is consistent of very thick plastic or something else which works to catch water and allow you to mop it afterwards. Don’t use anything that’s going to absorb the water in the room where your cannabis plants are growing.
