Make Soil from Dirt for Growing Marijuana Plants

If you don’t want to purchase soil in a bag already made then you can make it by yourself. There are various ways of doing so but if you want to use the dirt you got from your driveway or yard then you could do that if you follow a certain process. The first thing you will have to do with the dirt is sterilize it and to do this you will have to bake the dirt in your oven.

Baking the Dirt

Put the dirt in your oven at 250 degrees and let it sit in there for around an hour. Make sure that you moisturize the dirt beforehand and you make sure that you quickly leave the kitchen because dirt baking doesn’t smell too good. After it is ready you will want to add in a tablespoon of fertilizer (something like Rapid Gro) for every gallon of soil you have and mix it in. You will also have to make sure that the pH level is good and you won’t have any difficulties growing the marijuana plants in it.

The whole process is complicated, can take a while, and stinks up your kitchen. Your best option would be to just buy the soil from a department store or plant store in your local area to save from all of this. If you really want to make the soil at home then make sure you follow that guideline.
