Using Seeds or Clones

Whenever you are going to grow marijuana plants you will either have to start with marijuana seeds or marijuana clones to be used with your hydroponic garden and marijuana grow lamps. A lot of the time people will just stick to using marijuana seeds because it is most common and most inexperienced growers won’t understand marijuana clones. If you are more experienced and want to use marijuana clones then it can be an effective choice. You can get clones from your own crops or you can get it from someone who is currently growing marijuana plants from getting clones off of their female marijuana plants.

Clones

Marijuana plant clones are basically small cuttings which are removed from a female marijuana plant which is currently growing. Once the clone is cut off from the main plant (usually called the mother plant) it will then grow into an adult plant if the growing environment is suitable. The clones are a copy of the mother plant.

If you are going to be getting either marijuana seeds or marijuana clones from another grower then you will want to be informed about them. It is important that you know what the strain is (if it’s indica, sativa, or a mix), the expected weight yield, expected flowering time, and whether it is supposed to be used to grow marijuana plants inside or outside.
