Mexican Bean Beetles

This type of pest is most popular amongst growers based on what it looks like. Mexican bean beetles are almost identical to ladybugs but it’s still easy to determine the difference between the two. The adults of this species are easy to identify as you can see 8 black spots on both wings of the Mexican bean beetle. The spines of Mexican bean beetles are large and have a forked figure.

Ladybugs

While ladybugs look very much the same there is still a difference between the two. Ladybugs are considered a good thing to have around your cannabis plants by many growers because they can eat up to five thousand aphids in their life span. The shape of ladybugs is similar to an oval but the Mexican bean beetles are a little bit different.

If you know for a fact that your marijuana plants are being tortured with Mexican bean beetles you will want to get them out of the garden. The best way to remove this particular pest from your weed plants is to use a type of spray which has a large content of permethrin. You will want to spray the leaves and soil.
